Review Policy

All my reviews are honest & my reviews are my own. I reserve my right to share the full extent of my opinion, including, but not limited to, low-ratings, criticisms, & call-outs where needed, especially regarding (unchallenged) problematic content. 

I try to review all books in a timely manner, but I cannot guarantee to have my review ready by release date, the requested deadline date, &/or the requested time frame. 

I restore my right to not finish &/or not review a book I received for reviewing purposes. If this happens, I will communicate the reason why privately. 

DNF Policy

I do not review books I did not finish (DNF). I do leave a brief explanation GoodReads & StoryGraph stating why I did not finish & add it to my "did-not-finish" shelf.

Multiple Reviews

I am currently only accepting one title per request at a time.

Review Location

I post my full reviews on my blog. Shortened yet detailed versions of my reviews will be posted on GoodReads, StoryGraph, Facebook, & Instagram if possible & applicable.

Preferences

I accept books for all age categories & books in physical & eBook format. I accept horror, thriller, YA, romance, self-help, memoir, poetry, & contemporary fiction. I do not accept science fiction or smut heavy romance. Fir further clarification on specific books or genres not mentioned, please reach out via my contact page.

Review Style

I write my reviews from my own perspective as someone who likes to read for fun, but is also critical about the content & quality of the book. I consider my reviews to be written in a structured yet informal fashion. I try to keep spoilers to a minimum & will only use them to explain my opinion better, get a point across, &/or explain representation or potentially problematic content. The spoilers come with a tag or warning & will only be included on my personal blog review.

Review Requests

To submit your request, please fill out the contact form with the following information:

  1. Book title
  2. Author name
  3. Book synopsis/description
  4. Name of series (if applicable)
  5. Genres/subgenres
  6. Publishing imprint (if applicable)
  7. Length of the book (page or wordcount)
  8. Format(s) of the book you have available
  9. Content or trigger warnings
  10. Publication date
  11. Preferred timeframe/ deadline for the review (optional)
  12. High quality image of the book cover I can use for my review graphic (optional but preferred)

Fees

I do not charge for my reviewing services, but tips are always appreciated. You can do so by "purchasing" the tips item in my shop.
